¼ Cup Salad Oil
3 lbs. Beef Chuck, cubed
4 Med. Onions, finely chopped
¼ Cup Tomato Paste
1 Small Bay leaf
¾ Cup Chopped Parsley
2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Thyme
¼ Tsp. Pepper
1 ½ Cups Water
Egg Noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oil in an oven proof skillet.
Add beef and brown on all sides then remove reserving drippings in skillet.
Pre-heat the oven to 300.
To drippings in skillet add onions and sauté until golden brown (about 10 minutes). Return beef to skillet. Stir in water, tomato paste, parsley, salt, thyme, pepper and Bay leaf. Bring to a boil, cover and bake in oven for 2 hours.
Follow package directions for cooking Noodles.
Serve beef mixture over the buttered Noodles.
