First layer:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
½ cup cocoa
1½ cups flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1½ cup nuts

2nd layer:
1 cup margarine
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
4 Tbsp. flour
1½ cups brown sugar

Frosting:
3 Tbsp. melted butter
¼ cup milk
2 cups icing sugar
¼ cup cocoa
½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
First layer (brownie layer) - Cream sugar and margarine. Add remaining ingredients; beat well. Bake 350º for 20 -25 minutes in a greased cookie sheet.
Second layer (caramel) - cook in saucepan on medium low heat until thickened and caramelized. stirring frequently. Pour over first brownie layer and bake for an additional 10 minutes at 350º.
Frosting: Blend melted butter with cocoa and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and beat well together. Ice cake when cool.
