Small piece of suet, diced and fried
4 lbs hamburger
1/4 lb sausage (optional)
1 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin seed
1 tbsp cumin powder
2 tbsp celery salt
1 piece Mexican pepper or crushed red pepper
2 large cloves garlic
2 medium onions, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 can (12 oz.) crushed tomatoes
3 cans (14 1/2 oz.) ready cut tomatoes
3 cans (11.5 oz.) V8 juice
4 cans (14.2 oz) black or kidney beans

Directions:
Combine suet, hamburger and sausage; brown slightly leaving moist. Add seasonings, onions, and peppers. Fry until brown. Add tomatoes V8 juice and beans. Cook slowly in 5-quart crock pot or in 275-300º oven for 6-8 hours.
