2 Tbsp. rapid rise yeast

2 Tbsp. white sugar

1½ C. hot water

4-5 C. bread flour

1 tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. olive oil

4 Tbsp. Butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried basil

1. In a large bowl, pour yeast, sugar and water in bowl, stir slightly.

2. Allow to proof for 5-10 minutes, or until the top of the water is covered in bubbles.

3. Add 3 cups of flour, oil and salt. Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.

4. Sprinkle work surface with flour, dump the dough onto work surface, adding additional flour on top of dough.

5. Kneed dough for 5-10 mins. or until it starts to become smooth and glossy. Adding more flour as needed to keep it from sticking to the work surface.

6. Place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a towel. Let rise until doubled is size.

7. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces, you can weigh it or eye it, depending on your preference.

8. Place in an oiled pan, with about ½" space between them. Cover and let rise again for 20 minutes.

9. Preheat oven to 400º.

10. While oven is preheating, melt butter with garlic powder, onion powder and basil in a bowl.
Brush the tops of each roll with half the butter mixture.

11. Bake in middle rack for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with the other half of the butter mixture.

12. Bake for an other 5-10 minutes, until golden brown on top.

13. Remove from oven and enjoy!
