3/4 cups margarine @ room temp.
1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. each: baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon
1/2 tsp. each: nutmeg, salt

Topping:
Mix all together:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg
1/2 cup pecans

In large bowl w/ electric mixer, cream butter with sugars until smooth. Add eggs & buttermilk & beat until slightly fluffy. Stir in flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, & salt - mix well. Spread batter 13 x 9 greased glass baking dish. Sprinkle topping over batter. Cover pan & refrigerate over night. Next morning, bake @ 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned. Serve warm or cool.
