"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, and onion in a jar. Cover tightly and shake vigorously to emulsify. Set aside.

Tear and combine lettuce, spinach, bell peppers (if desired), and avocado in a large bowl. Sprinkle with almonds and pine nuts.

To serve, add dressing, tossing to coat. Crumble Terra chips and sprinkle on top (adjust amount to your preference, about 3/4 of the bag).

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
From The Kosher Palette cookbook. I don't like bell pepper much, so I leave it out. You can use Terra Stix, which won't need to be crumbled, or the original Terra Chips.
