"Plain fresh bread, its crust shatteringly crisp. Sweet cold butter. There is magic in the way they come together in your mouth to make a single perfect bite."--Ruth Reichl

1 lb. leftover cooked meat or chicken, finely chopped
1 onion, minced
oil or schmaltz
seasoning to taste (taco seasoning, or cumin + coriander, etc.)
prepared wonton or egg roll wrappers, cut into squares

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in oil or schmaltz until golden.

In a bowl, mash together onion and meat. Add seasoning to taste.

Scoop mixture onto individual dough squares. Fold into triangles and seal with a tiny bit of water if necessary.

Cook in chicken soup for about 12 minutes.

If preparing in advance, freeze on a cookie sheet after filling, but before cooking. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer ziplock bag. Do not thaw before adding to soup, just add about 5 minutes to cooking time.
