- 2 honeycrisp apples, diced
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 1 box of jiffy cornbread mix
- 1/3c chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. bacon bits
- 2Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
- Sauté apples and onion with butter until onions are translucent and apples are soft
- Prepare Jiffy cornbread mix according to box directions and bake
- Once cornbread is baked, crumble and combine with apples and onions
- Stir in bacon bits
- Slowly add in chicken broth, add more in if desired. Mixture should not be dry/cumbly
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes to brown on top

- Ive added a personal size of applesauce before to help combine and used less chicken broth and it turned out as well
