1/2 - 1 stick of butter
2-3 lbs beef roast or stew meat pieces
1 envelope onion soup

Optional (but recommended):
Onion chunks or chopped onion
Garlic
Worcestershire
Directions:
Directions:
Place butter then beef into slow cooker. Sprinkle other ingredients on top.

Slow cooker on low: 8 hours
Slow cooker on high: 4 hours
Instant Pot: 15-20 min with natural release

Serve over cooked egg noodles.
