fresh or dried violet leaves (not African violets)
water
raw honey

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a jar no more than 1/3 full of violet leaves.
Pour cold water over and refrigerate overnight.
Simmer the mixture for 15 minutes, then strain the leaves.
Combine 3 1/2 tablespoons of the tea with 3/4 cup honey in small saucepan.
Gently stir over very low heat, without allowing the mixture to come to a simmer.
Pour into a sterilized jar and lid tightly.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
You can extend shelf life by stirring in several tablespoons of brandy or vodka.

Dosage: 1 - 2 tsp for children or 1 Tbsp for adults up to 5 times per day
