Directions:
1) In a medium skillet, add two tablespoons of oil( I use peanut)and a pound of sausage.
2)Over med-high heat, begin frying until all pink is gone, and the meat has begun to brown.
3)Once the the meat is brown, reduce the heat to low and add the flour. Coat the sausage in the flour. There should be no oil left in the pan. If there is, add an additional small amount of flour.
4)Once the sausage is completely coated, add the 3 cups of milk ( 1 cup at a time) until a gravy has formed.
5) Add two tablespoons of butter and the salt/pepper. If the gravy appears too thick , add a small amount of water to the gravy a little at a time until it reaches the consistency you like.
6) Allow to simmer about 10 times. Then enjoy!
