1⁄2 Cup Soy sauce
1⁄2 Cup Packed light brown sugar
2 TBL Sesame oil
2 TBL Rice vinegar
2 TBL Minced fresh ginger
4 Garlic cloves, crushed
1⁄4 Tsp Red pepper flakes, crushed
5 LBS Beef short ribs, 5 lbs pork butt or beef chuck roast
3 TBL Cornstarch
3 TBL Water
3 Scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
1 TBL Sesame seeds
3 cups cooked white rice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend soy sauce, sugar, oil, vinegar, ginger, garlic and red pepper in bowl.
2. Place meat in 5 quart crock pot
3. Add sauce
4. Cover
5. Cook on High for 6 hours or Low for 9 hours, until meat is tender
6. Transfer meat to a platter
7. Skim and discard excess fat from liquid
8, Combine cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water
9. Blend with liquid in a saucepan
10. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, until thickened
11. Top meat with sauce, scallions and sesame seeds
12. Serve over cooked rice
