4 qt popped corn (remove unpopped kernels)
1 c molasses
1 c sugar
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbs butter
a pinch of baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir molasses, sugar and vinegar together. Boil slowly. When a drop forms a hard ball in cold water, add butter and vanilla. Pour mixture into bowl of popped corn and stir fast. When nearly cool, butter your hands and roll pop corn into balls.

This recipe comes from an old version of the boy scout cookbook. We would have this every so often but mostly a treat at Halloween.
