1 1/2 c sugar
1 c margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
4 T sugar
4 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Mix well.

In a small bowl, combine 4 T sugar and 4 tsp cinnamon. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.

I made this very recipe for my ward choir and no one noticed. My husband, Gary, made this same recipe a month later for the choir, and everyone wanted the recipe! His secret ingredient: he makes these cookies with LOVE!!
