2 c. elbow noodles (uncooked)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 c. shredded cheese
2 c. thin white sauce (see below)
1 T. butter

White Sauce
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
salt/pepper
2 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles. Rinse with cold water -- let cool. Put 1/2 of noodles in large baking dish with 1/2 of cheese, top with remaining noodles and cheese. Pour white sauce over top (see below). Dot with butter. Cook covered for 30 min. at 375º. Cook uncovered for an additional 15 min.

Heat butter in saucepan. When butter is melted, add flour and mix together. Add salt/pepper. When mixture is bubbly, add milk gradually and off flame using whisk. Stir continuously over medium heat until thickened.
