1½ c corn meal
½ c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
¾ c milk
1 egg, beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn meal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add milk, egg and onion; mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoon into deep hot oil (375º), frying only a few at a time until golden brown.
Drain on absorbent paper.
