Ingredients:
6 to 7 Apples, I like to use Golden Delicious
¾ to 1 cup of granulated Sugar
3 Tbsp. All Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Dash Nutmeg
Dash Salt
2 tbsp. Butter

Pastry for 2-Crust 9" pie

Directions:
Directions:
Pare apples and slice thinly.

Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt. Mix with the apples.

Line a 9" pie plate with your bottom pastry, fill with the apple mixture and dot with butter. Place the top crust into place. Cut a few vent wholes. I do this after I fold the pastry and before placing it on the pie.

Brush the top with milk or melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in a hot over at 400º for 50 minutes or until done.
