2 c corn meal
½ c flour
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
3 tsp sugar
2 eggs
1 c cream style corn
1 c crisp crumbled bacon
½ c bacon drippings
3-4 med size jalapeno, chopped fine
1 c grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together well except cheese. Pour half of mixture in a greased 10x13 pan. Sprinkle the cheese over and cover with the remaining mixture.

Bake in preheated 350º oven for 1 hour or until nicely brown on top and cooked through.

Whew! This sound like a hot and spicy one. I love the bacon drippings amount. If you choose to you can use vegetable oil instead.
