12 cups water
4 tbsp brown sugar
3/4 cup pickling salt
Boil all together until it reaches boiling point
Take off burner to cool
Add 2 1/4 cups vinegar

THIS SAME BRINE IS USED FOR CANNED PICKLES, CARROTS, BEETS, ETC.

Pour over cukes that are in a 5 gallon pail or crock.
Make sure all cukes are covered with brine. (Put plate on for weight)
Leave in pail for 3 days

After 3 days pack in jars leave in fridge for storage

If you want to can these. Add brine to cukes that are in jars with garlic cloves
Do not snug lids when putting the jars in the oven
Put jars in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Tighten lids when taking out of oven
