12 1/2lbs cabbage
1-pint yellow vinegar
1/2-gallon mustard = 64oz
3 3/4lbs sugar = 60oz
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 quart water
6 oz. or 1/4 can of salt
1 oz. of black pepper
1 lb. onion

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onions and cabbage in food processor. In large crock add cabbage and onions with remaining ingredients, mix well.

Cover with cheese cloth or a thin cloth. Let stand for 3 days. Do not uncover or stir during this time.

On third day, stir well and put in jars. Relish is ready to use!

This relish is great on hotdogs, hamburgers, and fried egg sandwiches

I store in the refrigerator to help keep the bright yellow color. It can be left out but will darken some.
