Cucumbers
Onions, sliced into thing rings
1/2 teaspoons dill seed, per quart
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic, per quart

Brine:
3/4 cups white vinegar, per quart
1 cup water, per quart
3/4 cups sugar, per quart
1 teaspoon salt, per quart

Directions:
Directions:
Wash desired amount of cucumbers and cut into 4-inch pieces. Cover with cold water, let stand 5 hours.

Pack cucumber and a few slices of onions into jars. Add dill seed and minced garlic to each jar.

Place ingredients for brine into a pot and bring to a boil. Pour brine over cucumbers.

Seal jars and process in a water bath for 10-15 minutes.
