Ingredients:
Ingredients:
13 lbs peaches
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup bottled lemon juice
1 Tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp almond extract (trust me, it enhances the peach flavor)
1.5 tsp cloves

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel and Slice peaches into a slow cooker or electric roaster
2. Add all other ingredients
3. Allow it to cook down over night
4. Use an immersion blender, to make it smooth. Allow to cook for an additional couple hours. You want the consistency to cost the back of a spoon and not drip off.
5. Put into sterilized jars, attach lids and rings leaving 1/4” head space
6. Water bath 15 minutes.
*note you can do this in just a pot on the stove , just make sure you are near by and can stir it frequently so it doesn’t scorch the bottom. It’ll take time, don’t try and rush it.
** for gifts I put mine into quarter pint jars (4 oz)
