Bacon & Cheese Quiche Recipe

½ cup cooked Real Bacon Bits/Pieces
¾ cup Swiss Cheese OR Mild Cheddar
3 eggs
1½ cups heavy cream (or half & half)
1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie crust
*add a couple dashes of hot sauce to the eggs if you want it spicy

*crusts come packaged with two shells. Double the recipe to make two!

Preheat oven to 375º

Cook bacon bits in microwave about 35 seconds-cool

Press bacon and cheese into bottom of the pie crust. Beat the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl until blended. Pour mixture over the bacon & cheese.

Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, or until quiche is brown and not jiggly in the middle.

Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Serve with fruit or salad
