Mix:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
½ envelope dry Lipton Onion Soup mix
1 cup rice (uncooked)
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas and carrots
3 oz. can chopped mushrooms (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste (not much extra salt needed)

Uncooked chicken pieces of your choice.

Mix well and pour into greased 9x13 pan. Arrange chicken pieces on top of rice, (enough to serve everyone). Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake, covered with foil, for 1½ hour at 375º. Enjoy!

This is one of those recipes I made many times before church on Sundays. I would set the oven to have it be ready when we got home, and the house always smelled so good!
