12oz lean neck of mutton/stewing steak
1 lb potatoes
Salt and pepper
Hot water
1oz butter
2 large onions

Directions:
Directions:
-Preheat oven gas mark 3
-Cut meat into pieces
-Peel and slice potatoes and onions to a ½ inch thick
-Fill a casserole dish alternate layers potatoes, meat and onions
-Half fill dish with hot water
-Dab butter on the top
-Put lid on and bake for 2 hours
-Take lid off and bronze for 20 minutes
