½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsps. corn syrup
1 loaf brioche bread
5 eggs
1½ cups Half and Half cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. brandy based orange liqueur (such as Grand Mariner)
¼ tsp. salt
Garnishes: Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Melt butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 9 x 13“ baking dish.

Arrange bread in the baking dish in a single layer.

In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half cream, vanilla extract, orange brandy and salt. Pour over the bread and garnish with cinnamon and nutmeg! Cover and chill at least 8 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Remove the dish from the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.

Bake uncovered 45 minutes until puffed and lightly browned.
