1 8 oz. strawberry Jello
1 20 oz. bag frozen strawberries
2 tbs. sugar
pinch of salt
1 lb. angel food cake (torn into pieces)
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jello in 2½ cups boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries (juice and all), sugar and salt. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in Cool Whip.

Cover bottom of 9” x 13” dish with half of cake. Pour about half the strawberry mixture over cake. Add remaining cake and cover with remaining strawberry mixture.

Refrigerate 4-5 hours or overnight. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Cut into squares.
