For the filling:
8 large fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
1/3 C brown sugar
1/3 C white sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

For the topping:
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
1/3 C brown sugar
1/3 C white sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter, cut into small pieces
1/3 C boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425
2. Peel, remove pits and slice peaches. Add to a large mixing bowl.
3. Sprinkle brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, corn starch, lemon juice, and nutmeg over peaches.
4. Stir until peaches are coated.
5. Pour into an uncreased 9x13 baking dish.
6. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven.
7. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk flour, brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder and salt together.
8. Using a pastry blender, mix butter into flour mixture and blend until mixture becomes crumbly.
9. Pour in boiling water and stir until combined.
10. Spoon mixture over peaches and spread gently making sure to cover the peaches
11. Bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
