2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1cup butter melted
4T cocoa
1cup water
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup buttermilk
Frosting:
½ cup butter melted
4 T cocoa
6 T buttermilk
3½ cups powdered sugar
1tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar and flour. Mix butter, cocoa & water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture and stir until well mixed. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon & vanilla. Mix well and pour into a greases 11 x 16 inch pan that is at least ½ inch deep. Bake 20 minutes in a 400º oven. Begin making frosting 5 minutes before cake is done.
Frosting:
Melt butter, cocoa & buttermilk and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat well and spread over hot cake.
