2 lbs. chicken cutlets, cut into finger-like strips
12 oz. salted pretzels or 3 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
3 T. maple syrup
oil, for frying

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor fitted with the "s" blade, chop pretzels to form coarse crumbs.
Place flour into a bowl.
Whisk egg and maple syrup together in a second bowl.
Add pretzel crumbs to a third bowl.
Coat chicken fingers first in flour, then egg, then pretzel crumbs.
At this point you can fry the pretzel fingers, freeze for another day, or refrigerate and fry later.
When ready to cook, heat 2 inches oil(enough to cover chicken strips) in a deep saucepan or fryer.
Add chicken; fry until golden and crisp.
Drain on paper towels.
