1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
1 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teapoon soda
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter milk
1 teapoon cinnamon

Gingerbread Crumble Glaze:
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup soft butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add
Molasses. Sift flour, soda, and spices together;fold in flour
mixture alternately with buttermilk. Bake in square pan 25-30
minutes at 350 degrees.

For the Gingerbread Crumble Glaze:

Combine all ingredients with hands or fork until crumbly.
Spread over gingerbread for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
