5 to 4 lb. rump or sirloin tip roast
1 can bouillon soup and 1 c. dry red wine
2 medium onions sliced and 1 clove garlic, diced
3 whole cloves and ¼ tsp. celery seeds
¼ tsp. oregano
10 whole pepper corns
1 tsp. salt
2 bay leaves

Place in kettle, marinate overnight. Remove roast & brown on all sides, while heating marinade to simmer. Return browned roast with simmering marinade (or put all in roaster in moderate oven). Cook 2 1/2 h. (300º). Remove roast. Strain marinade (optional) and thicken for gravy.
