Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 ¾ c. flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 c. butter
½ c. white sugar
¾ c. chocolate chips
½ c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter until creamy. Stir in dry ingredients, then add chips and nuts.
Roll into walnut sized balls and slightly flatten 1½ inches. Bake 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until light brown.

These cookies are melt in your mouth soft and crunchy, a shortbread crisp.
