4 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar (can use up to 1 cup)
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Raisins
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Eggs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º

Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix. Gradually add buttermilk and raisins,

Grease and flour pans. Mark an X on top. Sprinkle extra sugar on top. Bake at 375º for 90 minutes.
