¾ cup butter
1½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tbl vanilla
1½ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
11 oz caramels
3 Tbl heavy whipping cream
½ tsp coarse sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter and continue cooking 5 minutes or until butter foams and turns deep golden brown. Immediately remove from heat, pour into large bowl. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
2. Heat oven to 375º. Line a 9"x13" pan with tinfoil. Spray bottom with non-stick spray.
3. Add brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla to cooled browned butter and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir just until combined. Stir in chips.
4. Spread ⅔ of cookie dough into prepared pan.
5. Combine caramels and heavy whipping cream in microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
6. Pour mixture over cookie dough in pan; spread to ¼ inch from sides. Sprinkle with half of sea salt. Drop pieces of remaining dough over top of caramel. Sprinkle with remaining sea salt.
7. Bale 19-23 minutes or until golden brown around the edges and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
