16 lasagna noodles
8 oz ricotta cheese (small container)
one large carton of cottage cheese
1 jar of favorite spaghetti sauce
1 -2 lbs of hamburger (depending how much meat you want)
Italian seasoning ( oregano, parsley, basil, rosemary)
garlic powder
Grated Mozzarella cheese, approximately 2 cups

1, cook hamburger and drain grease
2. Add spaghetti sauce and 2 tsp. italian seasonings and 1/4 tsp. garlic powder to mixture, leave on stove on low heat.
3. If not preparing night before, need to cook lasagna noodles according to directions on box, otherwise, break noodles to fit 8x8 dish. Usually 4 noodles per layer, with 2 layers of noodles.
4. Prepare to layer, spray 8x8 dishes with cooking spray, add spoonful hamburger mixture, then lasagna noodles, then meat mixture, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, then mozzarella cheese.
5. put lasagna noodles on top of the above ingredients.
6. repeat #4, then put lasagna noodles down
7. repeat #4, then top with extra mozzarella cheese.
8. cook on 350 degrees for 25 minutes, cover with foil
9. remove foil the last 10 minutes.

This recipe makes (2) 8x8 dishes, I usually put one dish in the freezer. The dish that goes into freezer, you do not cook prior to freezing. May keep in freezer for 3 months. best to put date that it was made on the container.
