2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
4 T. cocoa

1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water

2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 dry ingredients. Bring butter, crisco and water to boil. Pour over dry. Add eggs, then buttermilk/soda mixture. Next add vanilla. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. (10x15) Bake 20 minutes @ 350º. Frost while hot.

Icing:
Bring to a boil 4 T. cocoa, 1 stick of butter and 6 T. milk. Pour over box (3½ c.) powdered sugar and mix. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. nuts.
