1 c milk, scalded
2 T melted butter
2 T flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and flour. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over hot water until thick and smooth. Add salt and pepper. Use for creamed and scalloped potatoes.
