1½ c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
¾ tsp. Salt
3 Tbsp. Shortening
¾ c. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour, powder and salt into a bowl. Cut in shortening thoroughly, until mixture looks like meal. Stir in milk. Drop dough by spoonful onto hot meat or vegetables in boiling stew. (Do not put directly into hot liquid). Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer or until dumplings are fluffy.
