2 Cornish Hens
4 Strips bacon
½ cup red wine
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Cut hens in half, wash and dry well. Rub inside and out with seasonings. Place in baking dish and cover each with 1 strip of bacon and bake at 500º for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 30 minutes more. Add wine to pan and bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve with sauce from pan.
