6 T of butter
3 T of chopped green onion
⅓ cup of flour
4 cups of chicken broth
½ cup of cooked cubed ham
2 cups of cooked wild rice
¼ cup of grated carrots
3 T of chopped pecans
¼ tsp of white pepper
1 cup of ½ and ½

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in butter

Blend in flour

Gradually add broth

Cook stirring until mixture comes to a boil

Stir in ham, rice, carrots, pecans, pepper and simmer for 5 minutes

Blend in ½ and ½ and salt

(Can add other meats like chicken, seafood, etc.)
