4 c. Flour
2 c. Sugar
2 tsp. (or more!) ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. oil
1 1/3 c. Buttermilk (I mix plain yogurt and milk)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350º
Mix dry ingredients, less Baking Soda,
Stir Baking Soda into Buttermilk.
Stir this mixture into dry ingredients and add oil, mixing everything till thoroughly consistent.
Turn batter into a 13 x9 inch baking pan or a jelly roll pan. Optional: sprinkle sugar over top.
Bake at 350º for 25 minutes or till top is springy. I like to slightly over cook mine to get a browned crispy edge. Others prefer it "white."
