Ingredients:
Sauerkraut Soup yummy Ginny Greek
4 c. chicken broth/stock or more
10 oz Sauerkraut or more
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 large chopped onion
4 sliced celery ribs
4 sliced carrots
4 potatoes, sliced
1 t. dill
salt & pepper to taste
slices of smoked sauage

Directions:
Directions:
Wash sauerkraut and put into the stock or broth.
Add celery, carrots & onions.
When almost tender add the sliced or cubed potatoes, soups, sausages, dill,
salt and pepper.
Slowly simmer until all veggies are tender but not overcooked.
note: Ginny used garlic pepper instead of black pepper. Save a little of the drained off sauerkraut juice, just in case you wash it too much and needed
more for seasoning. Ginny also adds a couple mashed garlic cloves. Brats, cook in hot not boiling water 3 mins and grill, Polish in hot water (they are cooked) and then grill, Knockwurst, hot water for 3 mins if not cooked and then grill. Do this before slicing to go into soup pot. 3X recipe for large groups.
