Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Kosher salt
2 bunches broccoli, trimmed (about 14 oz)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, very thinly sliced
2 tsp fresh lemon juice, + 2 lemons halved (halves optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Prepare a large bowl of ice water; set it aside. Cook broccoli in boiling water until crisp tender & very bright green, 3-4 minutes. Transfer broccoli to ice water to stop the cooking, then drain very well.
In large skillet, heat butter & oil over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and sauté until lightly charred, 5-6 minutes.
Add the garlic, lemon juice, and 1 tsp salt. Sauté, stirring constantly so garlic doesn’t burn, until broccoli is charred and garlic is just golden, about 2 minutes more.
Remove broccoli & garlic to a platter. Add lemons cut-sides down and let char, 2-3 minutes, if desired. Serve with the broccoli.
