½ lb breakfast sausage
½ c + all purpose flour
½ gal whole milk
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage; pour off most of the fat.
Turn off heat, add flour, mix to coat sausage.
On medium, stir & cook 2 min.+.
Add milk, stirring. Reduce heat when bubbly.
Heat to consistency. Season.
Let sit for 5 min; serve over warm biscuits, or...

For a casserole: cut canned buttermilk biscuits into quarters, spread in greased 9x13 pan; add cooked sausage & sprinkle w/cheese; Pour over 6 eggs+½c milk beaten; top with prepared country gravy mix; bake 350º for about 35 min.
