1 c. mashed bananas (approx. 3 very ripe bananas)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. lt. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter - softened
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. applesauce
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (or nuts of your choice)

Cream together butter and sugars in large bowl. Add lightly beaten eggs to sugar. Stir in flour and salt and mix well. Combine sour cream, applesauce and baking soda and add to batter. Stir in bananas and walnuts. Pour into greased & floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until center comes out clean when tester is inserted.
