5 lbs apricots, peeled and halved
1 cup water
3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
4 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Puree the apricots in a blender, then combine with the water and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
Skim the foam from the surface and discard.
Spoon the syrup into 4 hot, sterilized 1-pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch head space.
Seal with 2 piece lids.
Process in a hot water bath for 5 minutes.
