1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 TBSP dried oregano
3 TBSP dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp sugar
salt/pepper to taste

Combine ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until simmering. Remove from stovetop and let sit until room temperature. Keep in a covered jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze in single use amounts.

The original recipe did not heat the sauce. I did heat it over medium high to let the herbs and spices release their flavor. We tried it using Naan bread as the crust and added pepperoni, fresh mozzarella and fresh mushrooms. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake individual pizzas until done to your liking---10-12 minutes.
