Dough:
1 c. milk
5 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 t. salt
4 ½ t. yeast
½ c. water
1 egg

Filling:
1 lb. nuts, ground
½ c. butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
1 c. sugar
3 egg whites, beaten and folded into mixture

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk; cool to lukewarm. Combine flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter very finely. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast, milk, and egg to flour mixture. Blend well; cover tightly. Refrigerate overnight.

Combine all filling ingredients. Spread on rolled dough.

Bake at 350º until golden brown.
