1# Italian sausage
1/2 Med. Onion, chopped fine
1-8 ounce cream cheese -softened
1 pkg. multi colored mini peppers. You may also use 1 pkg. white button or portobello mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º
Wash & cut peppers in 1/2 lengthwise and clean out seeds. Drain on paper towel.
( for mushrooms, wash and pull out stem for stuffing and dry on paper towel)
Set on parchment lined lipped cooking pan.
In Med. Fry pan, brown sausage and onion.
Drain and cool.
Mix softened cream cheese into sausage and stuff mixture into each pepper/ mushroom
Add a bit of Parmesan cheese on top if desired
Bake until heated through- 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
